Opinion Paragraph for The Hunger
Games
The movie of The
Hunger Games is interesting entertainment, and it has strong messages to
present society and people. However, the
movie is not as dark as the novel. I was
not surprised by the story of the movie, because this movie was made as based
on the novel almost completely. The
movie has impressive images that Novel can’t express. On the other hand, the novel has the strong
messages that can be told obviously more than the movie. Characters casting was good. Every actor and actress performed very
well. Katniss’ strength and Peeta’s
kindness were expressed faithfully. In
addition, it’s interesting to see each character, because we can only imagine
the characters appearances in the novel.
The new characters added flavor to the movie. In the novel, about Game makers were not
mentioned very much. However, the movie
focused on the Captol people more than tribute’s family. It makes the image of Capitol more
understandable. Some characters were
also different from the novel such as Haymitch to make movie more
entertaining. To summarize, reading the
book and watching the movie will help each other to promote a mutual
understanding and make each work more interesting.
